12/16/2023 0 Comments What is deadly strike in diablo 2The difference is important because say in the case of the Barbarian, if +2 to Critical Strike really only means +2% chance to Critically Strike, up from 31 for example, then that's not so great. If used on an Amazon is this simply added on top of the Amazon's already existing 'Critical Stike' skill because it's the same thing? - And in the case of a Barbarian's mastery, say Throwing Mastery which comes with a chance to Critical Strike - are these the same skills or are they separate? Now, for the question - Gladiator's Bane comes with +2 to Critical Strike. ![]() Okay so that was just a little bit of context. So basically you have two independent rolls and they can both fail. The game first checks the Critical Strike chance and if that fails it moves to the next one. And also any number over 100% only means a max of 100%. Say you have 40% Critical Strike and 70% Deadly Strike, this doesn't mean you're guaranteed to deal double damage. 'Deadly Strike' for example does the same as 'Critical Strike', however they're not added on top of eachother. ![]() Hey, so I know that there are several skills that provide a chance to deal double damage.
